Meet the skidboard. Another essential piece for piano moving, the skidboard is built for strength and designed for versatility. We use it for every grand piano. We put the grand piano on its side onto the skidboard. The padded skidboard protects the side of the piano so that it is not resting directly on the dolly. It’s also great for sliding an upright piano up or down a set of stairs. Brackets on each side allow us to clip in straps to secure the load. We can use the wheels to move it around, or set the board on the all-terrain dolly. The skidboard is just another tool that helps us do the very best job for you.
